*Please Note: I like to joke because I like the humor, but seriously damaged iPods, although technically fixable, may in fact not be worth fixing.  For this reason 95% of my business involves simply replacing broken screens and/or relatively simple chassis components.  The mainboard for the iPod Touch 1G, for example, is over $200 just for the part itself, so if that is bad, you might consider just buying a new 2G version.  In the event that your iPod is not worth fixing, I would be happy to buy it for the remaining good parts in it (or you could put it on ebay).
